Description:  Neoponera villosa are the largest species of Huntress ants (Ponerini) in North America. These ants are a tropical species found in Central and South America and recently in Texas. They're a very unique species of ant due to their color and insane size and hunting capabilities. They're an aggressive species with great eyesight. They can be slow-growing in the founding stages but soon pick up the pace as they mature. Neoponera does not like vibrations.
